Nokia has launched its three brand new smartphone in India, namely - Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 1.3 on its Global launching event in March 19, 2020. Nokia has launched one more feature phone on the event and will talk about this later. In this article we are going to talk everything about Nokia 8.3 5G.

Nokia 8.3 5G : Box Contents

Talking about the box contents of Nokia 8.3 5G then the phone comes with sim ejector tool, quick start guide, 9V/2A charger, USB type C cable and finally Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone. Interestingly, there is no information about the soft TPU case for the phone which is pretty much disappointing.

Nokia 8.3 5G : Design and Build Quality

In terms of design it looks very nice. Nokia 8.3 5G is based on pristine nordic design language and the blackish on the sides and bluish on the middle looks pretty cool. Nokia 8.3 5G comes with polanight colour which Nokia claim 'a colour that takes inspiration from the northern lights'. There is a branding of Nokia on the backside middle of the phone and rear camera cutout also looks nice which comes in a circular cutout design. The size of Nokia 8.3 5G is 171.90*78.56*8.99 mm. The weight of the phone is going to be 220 grms so the in-hand feel of the phone should be heavy due to it's weight. Both side of the phone is protected by gorilla glass.  So overall we can say the build quality of the phone is going to be nice.

Nokia 8.3 5G comes with a quad rear camera setup with Zeiss Optics. It comes with 64 megapixel of primary camera, 12 megapixel of ultrawide camera, 2 megapixel of depth sensor and 2 megapixel of macro camera. You can shoot 4K videos easily with Nokia 8.3 5G. Talking about the front camera of Nokia 8.3 5G, it comes with 24 megapixel selfie camera. The phone also comes with dual high CRI rear flash and you can capture photos like a pro due to in-built  Zeiss Cinematic Effects.

Nokia 8.3 5G comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 G chipset and available in two RAM variants -  6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128 GB. Nokia 8.3 5G comes with a RAM type of LPDDR4x. Talking about OS of the phone then it is based on Android 10. Talking about the battery of the Nokia 8.3 5G then it comes with 4500 mAh of battery with a 9V/2A  charging output. Nokia 8.3 5G comes with the MicroSD card slot. Nokia 8.3 5G comes with OZO audio and it also have 3.5 mm headphone jack which is a good thing as most of the smartphone brand are removing it. It is also supportable of FM and Radio.

Talking about the connectivity of Nokia 8.3 5G then according to its name 5G is available on this phone and also supportable of 4G as well. Nokia 8.3 5G available on a Bluetooth version 5.0 and Wi-Fi-802.11/b/g/n/ac. The phone also comes with GPS/AGPS, Glonass and Beidou.

         Talking about the sensors of Nokia 8.3 5G then it comes with Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer (G-sensor), E-compass and Gyroscope. In terms of security, it comes with side mounted physical fingerprint sensor as power on/off button double and  Face Unlock.

Nokia 8.3 5G : Price and Launch Date

The phone is already launched on 19 March, 2020 Globally. The phone is available in two variants and the price after converting from EUR are as follows -

6 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM -    Roughly Rs. 48,100 (EUR 599)

8 GB  RAM + 128 GB ROM - Roughly Rs. 52,100 (EUR 649)
