POCO X2 has launched in India and we are here to give you our first impression on this new phone. POCO F1 had launched a year ago and we are eagerly waiting for POCO F2, but the company has launched POCO X2 and i am pretty exited to give my first impression on it. We are going to tell you what are its features and specifications, what are its box contents, all about its camera, price and many more. Stay tuned till the end to know all such points. Starting from the box then the colour of the box is black. The name of the phone is mentioned - "X2" on the front of the box. There are some key highlights of the phone is mentioned on the back side of the phone. Talking about the box contents then, there is a documentation, Sim ejector tool, Soft case or back cover of the phone, USB Type-C, 27 Watt of fast charging adapter and finally the POCO X2. Now let's talk about the Design and Built Quality of the phone.
POCO X2 : Design and Built Quality
The camera setup looks very premium and looks similar like redmi k30. It feels like there is a glass finish all around the camera but it's not. There is branding of POCO on the back side of the phone. On the camera housing " Designed by POCO" is written there. The soft case of the phone is of average quality and fits good on the phone. The colour of the phone we have is atlantis blue. It is available in three colour options - Blue, purple and reddish pink. The blue colour of the phone looks shinny and beautiful. Both the front and back side of the phone is protected by gorilla glass 5. The in-hand feel of the phone feels quite heavy and the weight of the phone is 207 grams.

POCO X2 : Ports and Buttons

Talking about the ports and buttons of the phone then there is a 3.5 mm head phone jack, USB Type-C port, Micro phone and speaker grill on the bottom of the phone. On the left hand side of the phone there is a sim card tray. On the top of the phone there is a noise cancelling micro phone and IR blaster as well. On the right hand side of the phone, there is a volume up and down button and the power on/off button doubles up with the side mounted physical fingerprint sensor. The phone comes with a hybrid sim card slot.

Starting from the display then the phone comes with a 6.67 inches of full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120 Hz of reality flow refresh rate. One thing to say that this phone comes with a higher refresh rate but not comes with a amoled display. The phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor with adreno 618 GPU and having a RAM of 8 GB + 256 GB ROM. This phone comes in three variants - 6 GB RAM+64 GB ROM, 8 GB RAM+128 GB ROM and 8 GB RAM+256 GB ROM. Talking about the storage type then it comes with UFS 2.1. Talking about the battery capacity then it comes with 4500 mAh of battery and 27 watt of fast charging. Talking about the sensors then it comes with almost all the types of sensors having IR blaster to do something remotely, having a side mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock as well.
Talking about some other features of this phone then it comes with dual 4G volte, Supportable of FM and Radio and wifi calling is also there out of the box. It is supportable of wide wine L1. Talking about the OS of this phone then it comes with MIUI 11 based on android 10 and runs on a POCO launcher which i really like. The OS is very fluid, i like the MIUI 11 but the POCO launcher is even better then this. There are pre-installed apps in the phone which can be uninstalled. The has the dark mode feature as well.

POCO X2 : Audio and Video
Now let's talk about the audio and video of this phone. The phone comes with bottom firing speakers and talking about the audio then the volume and quality from my point of view is average but talking about the video then it is really impressive. The bezels of the phone are really thin and due to good screen to body ratio, it has a immersive video viewing experience. One more thing to say about the video is that, this display is supportable of HDR 10 so the dynamic range you are going to see is due to this only. Overall the multi-media of this phone is decent or we can above average.

POCO X2 :Performance

Talking about the performance of this phone then the processor equipped with it is a higher mid range processor and if we see the antutu score then it comes 281581 so from that perspective it will give a really good performance. Talking about the gaming performance of this phone then playing games are really good on this. Due to a good display you can play PUBG mobile in High or HD settings, you canplay COD in max settings and you can play fortnite in medium settings as well. Overall you are going to enjoy it. One more thing to say that it is based on liquid cooling technology and POCO claims that the phone does not get heated much.
POCO X2 : Camera
Now let's talk about the most important feature of the phone which is the camera. The phone comes with a quad rear camera setup having 64 MP(f/1.9) sony IMX 686 primary camera, 8 MP(f/2.2) of ultra wide camera, 2 MP (f/2.4) of depth sensor and 2 MP (f/2.4) Macro sensor. Talking about the front camera of the phone then comes with a 20 MP (f/2.2) wide camera and a 2 MP (f/2.4) of depth sensor. The camera app of the phone is really good and feature rich.

I like this phone and i don't mind it to be a re-branded phone. All depends on it's price whether i am disappointed or not. Realme X2 comes with the similar specifications as on this phone and priced at 16,999/-. Since the base variant of this phone is 15,999/-, i think it is really a value for money smartphone as like POCO f1 and i will say it is a good premium mid-range smartphone.
