Nikon has launched the most awaited DSLR Nikon D780. Nikon has launched this camera after 5 years. This camera is the successor of Nikon D750 which was launched in 2014. According to Nikon, D780 can powerfully detect and track moving objects as it have 51-point AF(Auto-focus) system with optical viewfinder. It is incorporated with 273-point Hybrid AF system with focal plane phase detection AF which has improved the auto-focus in live view shooting and movie recording. During viewfinder photography, it's auto-focus can down to -3EV which makes it possible to take sharp images even under low light conditions.
Its auto-focus(AF) control can be customized and can be made faster or slower during movie recording. The AF fine-tune allows us to adjust the wide and telephoto ends of each type of lens we use to ensure focusing accuracy while taking a photograph or recording a movie. It has a exceptional image quality due to CMOS sensor featuring 24.5 effective megapixel which makes a balance between image quality and low light performance. The D780 has a sensitivity range of ISO 100-51200, can be expandable to ISO 50-204800. The D780 is powered by advanced image processor - Expeed 6 same as given in Nikon Z6. It is equipped with 1820k-pixels RGB sensor for advanced Scene Recognition System. It has a shutter speed of 1/8000 to 900 seconds. Nikon D780 has a option of Natural light auto white balance which makes the picture colour more realistic under natural light.
This camera is able to capture 24 mp of images at 7 fps of continuous shooting through the optical view finder. This camera featured take a shot without any mechanical vibration or any shutter click sound and thus helps in silent photography. D780 can capture 2 mp images at 120 fps with AF/AE as well as 8 mp images at 30 fps during high speed frame capture. Nikon D780 is a f Mount camera. If you have existing full frame lens and you don't want to move to a mirror less camera then you have a sense to buy this but if you are a new person to enter into a system then my recommendation to use that it does not make any sense to buy this. If you are a new person then you must go for Z mount cameras as it is a advanced amount and there are a lots of high quality and advance Z Mount lenses will come in future days but if you are a existing user of D series cameras like D750 and having full frame lenses then you can definitely go for a upgrade and go for D780.
