Realme has launched India’s
first 5G smartphone “ Realme X50 pro” in India. According to Realme, this
phone is the first 5G smartphone in India and obviously it is, which comes with
Snapdragon 865 processor along with dual Selfie camera. Here it is with us and
today we are going to give you our first impressions on this phone and give you
information relating to its technical specification, features, it’s pricing in
Indian market and all the other related information. So let’s start with the
design and build quality of the phone.

Realme X50 Pro : Design and build Quality
The design the phone looks very different from other
smart-phones. It is narrow and thick to some extent but the in-hand-feel of the
phone is very good. The colour of the phone we have is rust red and realme
claims that it is made up of 6 layers which gives it such a good finish. It’s
not red or it’s not orange, it’s a rusty colour and we are looking something
different and very cool. The phone is available in one more colour option i.e.
green. The front and back side of the phone is protected by gorilla glass 5 and
mid frame of the phone is made up solid metal. Talking about the weight of the
phone then it is about 213 grms, but it doesn’t feel like that, it feel like it
is about 200 grms and it means the weight distribution of the phone is good.

Talking
about the display of the phone, it is gorgeous; it is a 6.44 inches of full HD+
display. It also comes with 90hz amoled display and also supportable of HDR 10.
In addition to this the display is also protected by gorilla glass 5.
Everything you require is there in this phone and we think 90hz and amoled is a
perfect combination. The bezels of the phone are very thin and screen to body
ratio is 92%. Overall, a nice feeling come out there while taking the phone in

On the bottom of the phone, there is a speaker grill, USB
type-C port and the sim tray. On the left hand side of the phone there is
volume up and down button. On the top of the phone, there is a noise cancelling
micro-phone and on the right hand side of the phone, there is power on/off
button which is of slightly yellowish colour. This phone doesn’t come with
3.5mm head-phone jack which is from my point of view is the weaker side of the
phone. Talking about the sim card tray of the phone then it is not a hybrid or
dedicated sim slot but a dual nano sim card slot.

Realme X50 Pro : Features and Specifications
Talking the operating system of the phone then the users
will get realme UI out of the box which is based on android 10 having security
update of march. This phone comes with qualcomm snapdragon 865 processor with
5G and comes in 3 variants – 6GB, 8GB and 12 GB and we have the third one with
us. The base variant of the phone comes with 6GB RAM+128GB ROM. Talking about
the RAM type of the phone it is “LPDDR5 2750MHz” which is the latest RAM type
and talking about the storage type of the phone, it is UFS 3.0. The battery
capacity of the phone is 4200 mAh but it also comes with 65W Super Dart Charger
which will fully charge your within 35 Min. in real time.

Talking about the sensors of the phone then it
comes with all types of sensors including in-display finger print sensor and
face unlock but we want to say two more things about the sensors that it comes
with wi-fi 6.0 which is the latest wi-fi standard and Bluetooth 5.1 which is
again the latest one, so from the point of view of sensors and performance it
is again top notch. The finger print sensor and the face unlock both worked
very well and it is quite fast as well.

Talking about
the multi-media of the phone then it is very impressive. The speakers are loud
and the quality of the audio is one of the best that we have heard. The
pictures on the display are bright and as it supportable of HDR 10, the colours
on the screen look very nice. So overall the multi-media experience is again
the top notch. It is supportable of dual 4G volte and even 5G as well which we
have to wait for some time but we can smoothly use dual 4G volte. It is also
supportable of Wi-Fi calling out of the box, Supportable of camera to API which
means we can use GCAM as well. For doing HD steaming it is also supportable of
wide-wine L1.Due to having android 10 it is also supportable of features like
Dark Mode and others.
Realme X50 Pro : Camera
This phone comes with Quad rear camera setup having 12 MP of
Telephoto lens, 64 MP of primary camera(wide Samsung GW1), 8MP of Ultra wide
lens and 2 MP of dept sensor. Talking about the front camera of the phone then
it comes with 32 MP Sony IMX 616 Ultra wide camera and 8 MP of ultra wide
secondary sensor. You can get 105degree of FOV even for selfies so from the
point of view of cameras it is again quite good. Talking about the camera app
then it comes with all the features and even it has ultra macro mode where you
can click a photo from 2.5 cm and if we compare it with other phones like realme x2 pro then we are able to click a photo from 4 cm but now it goes even near
2.5 cm. It has one more feature like iphone i.e. slowfie where we can make slow
motion videos from front cameras as well. So overall there are lots and lots of
camera features and from the point view quality, it’s first impression is very
good.
Realme X50 Pro : Performance
This phone comes with 865 processor which is really very
fast. The antutu score of 855+ processor is somewhat 550000 but this 865
processor has an antutu score of 584500 which is even faster than 855+
processor. We think there is not much difference between 855+ and 865 processor
but there is lot of difference in real. The 865 Processor is atleast 25% to 30%
faster than 855+ processor. You can PUBG or COD in the highest settings
seamlessly without facing any problem. The performance of the phone become more
smoother because you are also getting latest RAM type and the latest Storage
type as well. Due to vapour cooling technology the phone does not heated much
after playing games for some time, yes it is warm but not that much.

The top variant is equipped with latest RAM type i.e., LPDDR5 RAM and latest UFS 3.0 storage.
Verdict
This phone comes with almost all the features having latest
RAM type and storage type. It also have latest Bluetooth version and wifi.
Having a very good multi-media experience and having Fabulous cameras. There is
a lot of things to like this phone but one thing to notice in this phone is
that if it comes with 3.5 mm headphone jack and hybrid or dedicated sim slot,
this could have been more better.
