Internet has made the whole world a global village.
Everything we want is now available by a simple click from our mobile phone. We
can do face to face communication or do video calling and talk to anyone around
this globe with the help of Whatsapp, Facebook, Skipe etc. For doing all this,
all you need is the high speed internet connection and why not? After all there
is question of the video quality.
Firstly, 2G came in India, then came 3G and now 4G is
running in India but there is a hope of coming 5G by 2022. 5G means better
connectivity and high speed. Not only government has started the work for
establishing the 5G connectivity in India but now ISRO has also stepped forward
for its development in India. Yes guys, ISRO has launched a communication satellite
on 17th January, 2020 which is named as GSAT 30. Now you must be
thinking about the benefits of this satellite. So let’s talk about it in brief…
GSAT30 is a communication satellite, by the help of which it
is expected to bring better connectivity in India. By the help of GSAT30,
internet connectivity can reach even in those areas, which does not have the
internet connection before. The weight of this satellite is 3100 kilogram. One more
thing to say that, this satellite is launched from Kourou Launch Base in French
Guiana instead of launching it from India. This satellite was launched with the
help of European heavy rocket Ariane 5-ECA in 17th January 2:35:00
A.M. This satellite has been established in the Geo Optical Orbit. This satellite
is equipped with two solar panel and a battery which will keep it energized.

Now let’s talk about
why GSAT 30 is important for us. With the help of this satellite, the
communication system of the country can be improved, there should be more
better T.V broadcast, more accurate weather information and it will also helps
in doing certain rescue operations. In addition to this, it will also help the
country in various ways. GSAT 30 is not the first communication satellite of
the country. India has 14 other GSAT satellites which helps the country for
better communication system. GSAT 30 satellite will continue to work for the
coming 15 years for India. The main reason behind the launch of this satellite is
to make the internet services of the country improved and for that the fiber
optic cables are already laid and the work for introducing 5G in India has also
been started. According to Swedish Tech giant erection, till 2025 nearly 65% of
the world population will get the access of 5G technology.
Let me know you one thing that the speed of 5G will nearly
100 times faster than 4G and it definitely requires a better and stronger
satellite which the GSAT 30 is able to meet all these needs. How long are you waiting for 5G and how much did you like this article, let us know by commenting below. Lastly if you want more articles like this than please show your love by following us on twitter, instagram, facebook and youtube.
